After School Clubs

Sunset Club

Sunset Club is our after school club that runs every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 3.30 to 5.15pm.

Mrs Alison Jackson (our pre-school manager) runs structured and fun sessions for children of different ages and abilities. There are a range of activities offered each session. Simply book your child into a session using the forms in the foyer of the school.

A picture of Joe (looking unusually smart!)

Each week we are visited by Joe Whitfield of the Checkpoint Christian Youth Trust.

Joe provides services to children and young people across North Herefordshire. These mainly include running a youth/after school club called 'Spotlight' and visiting schools to lead assemblies. He visits our school on Friday mornings to take assemblies and the children really look forward to it!

Spotlight Club takes place after school every Thursday from 3.30 to 5.00pm. The club is open to all St. Michael’s pupils from Reception to Year 6. At the moment there is a limit of 16 children that can be catered-for. This club is free to children at this school.

During the sessions the children play games, have a go at a simple craft activity and have a snack, for example. They will also have some input and teaching from a Christian perspective as part of the sessions.

If there is anyone who is interested in finding out more about 'Spotlight', please ask at the school office and we will do our best to help.
