Admission Arrangements

The Admissions Policy is determined and administered by the Governors as we are a Voluntary Aided school, although this also has to comply with certain criteria laid down by Local Authority and National guidelines.

There are generally around 100 pupils on roll at any one time at the school. Up to 15 pupils are admitted each year to the Reception Year Group and children are, at present, entered in the September of the year of their fifth birthday.

Prospective parents are invited to make an appointment to view the school and meet staff before their child begins his/her first term. Children are usually invited to spend some half-day sessions in the Reception Class before starting full-time school.

Coronavirus Catch-up Premium

The Coronavirus Catch-up Premium is being given to schools to fund for specific activities which will help pupils catch up on missed education during the school closure period during lockdown.
